Unforgettable Poem Of School days: Jeevan nahi mara karta

What a beautifully written poem! Hats off to Gopal das Neeraj ji

i remember reading this in my school days probably in 8th Std hindi book, not sure why i could never forget this poem ever. This poem and Harivansh rai bachchan ji's Jo beet gayi so baat gayi are based on similar lines.They are the best of all times!

जीवन नहीं मरा करता है (Jeevan nahi mara karta hai)

छिप छिप अश्रु बहाने बालो,
मोती व्यर्थ लुटाने वालो
कुछ सपनों के मर जाने से जीवन नहीं मरा करता है।

सपना क्या है, नयन सेज पर
सोया हुया आंख का पानी
और टूटना है उसको ज्यों
जागे कच्ची नींद जवानी
गीली उमर बनाने बालो, डूबे बिना नहाने बालो
कुछ पानी के बह जाने से सावन नहीं मरा करता है।

माला विखर गई तो क्या है,
खुद ही हल हो गयी समस्या
आंसू गर नीलाम हुये तो
समझो पूरी हुई तपस्या
रूठे दिवस मनाने वालो, फटी कमीज सिलाने वाले
कुछ दीपक के वुझ जाने से आंगन नहीं मरा करता है।

खोता कुछ भी नहीं यहॉ पर
केवल जिल्द बदलती पोथी
जैसे रात उतार चॉदनी
पहने सुबह धूप की धोती
वस्त्र बदलकर आने वाले, चाल बदलकर जाने वालो
चंद खिलौनों के खोने से बचपन नहीं मरा करता है।

लाखों बार गगरिया फूटीं
शिकन न आयी पर पन्घट पर
लाखों वार किश्तियॉ डूबीं
चहल पहल वो ही है घट पर
तम की उमर वढाने वालो लौ की उमर घटाने वालो
लाख करे पतझड़ कोशिश पर उपवन नहीं मरा करता है।

लूट लिया माली ने उपवन
लूटी न लेकिन गन्ध फूल की
तूफानों तक ने छेड़ा पर
खिड़की बन्द न हुई धूल की
नफरत गले लगाने वालों सब पर धूल उड़ाने वालो
कुछ मुखड़ों की नाराजी से दर्पण नहीं मरा करता है।

What is the cause of Insomnia?

I wonder why our elders are against long hours of sleep, are they envious?? :D

Probably only up-to to the age of 2 or 3 you are allowed to sleep for long hours and mostly because  babies grow while sleeping and definitely would look cute :P

After the age the of 3 the struggle of studying/extra curricular activities/bird watching/gossips/exam tension...blah blah blah starts and continues till graduation. After graduation if you think you can, well that's not true because on the job you are made to study many things and hardly left with 6 or at max 7hrs of sleep.
By the time you are 60 if you think now you can sleep as much as you want then again you are not right! because with all these years of practice you would have already developed insomnia! :D

So that's the cause of Insomnia!! and elders keep complaining about it!

Moral: Sleep for >8hrs no matter at what age you are so that you don't develop insomnia....buhahaha  can this happen??

Ever since i heard nish having this song as her caller tune..i liked it a lot.
But now i love it, after i heard the whole song.
Not only because of the lyrics..but also because of the simple composition of the tune..which is very pretty simple for anyone to humm.

Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani

The trailers of this movie were so much promising, and it was really good.
I loved every bit of this movie because of Ranbir's dialog delivery. I even loved the pairing of Ranbir and Katrina.
Katrina is stunning as ever, Ranbir looked too smart and winsome with his smart dressing.
To top-up all these, all the songs were good. I liked 'Prem ki naiyya' the best because of the way Ranbir dances. Hope even his next movie 'Rocket Singh' is as good as this.

Zaika - Fine Dining

I have started loving this place ever since i had Italian Sizzler.
I think this place is one of the best veg restaurants in Bangalore, i had
been waiting to take Nish to this place and finally we went.
The thought of even having dinner at Zaika made my day good.
As usual nish arrived late because of traffic, and the most surreal coincidence was
we both wearing SALWAR AND BANGLES(of almost the same sort).

Both of us were hungry, we quickly ordered everything at once and told the waiter to
serve sizzler at the last. Hmm...and after that the dinning started with delicious 'panner de tikke' followed by
'mushroom fry' with in between sips of 'thandai' and 'green temptation'.
Finally the sizzler arrived..ahahha it was too good as usual.

We finished the sizzler without leaving a bit...ahaha...it was truly a fine dining.

Wake up Sid!

I actually didnt want to watch this movie because i never liked Ranbir's look.
My excitement to watch this movie was only because we left early from office to watch a movie and there were no films starting before 5 except this one.
Moreover this was the first film i watched with my new set of friends.

I have become a great fan of Ranbir Kapoor after watching this film
Brilliant acting! at least among the newcomers i think he is the best.

Konkona is a very well known actress..no need to comment on her acting skills.
A very cute love story..nice to watch
Some of the songs are really good, the best ones are Ektara and Aaj kal zindagi
After watching the movie i feel.. :) How i wish i could have a young cute boyfriend!
